Alternative Learning Center

Clearbrook-Gonvick High School is a satellite site of the Thief River Falls ALC program. The ALC runs two to four seven-week sessions during the school year and a three-week summer school. ALC is a way for students who are behind to make-up credit; so they can graduate on time. A student may earn one-half credit per session. Each course (1/2 credit) of independent study requires 20 hours of seat time with the instructor, plus approximately 65 hours of home work. Questions may be directed to Sherry Hjelle at 218-487-6008, after 4:00 PM or e-mail clarkhjelle@juno.com .
